Licensing, one unit, one licence.

Every Kliktron software product is licensed per unit: a videotron, a device, a screen, a camera, a vehicle or a tenant. This page explains what a licence covers, how it is billed and checked, and what happens when it ends.

This page sets out the general licence terms for software provided by PT Kliktron Media Teknologi ("Kliktron", "we"). It applies together with the Terms of Service. Your order form or licence agreement prevails wherever it differs, and the units and prices that apply to you are the ones in your plan, quote or contract.

1. What a licence covers

A licence gives you the right to install and use a Kliktron software product on the number of units in your plan or contract, for the period you have paid for, for your own business. The software is licensed, not sold: Kliktron keeps all rights in it.

These terms cover Vertex Player, Vertex Monitoring, Vertex Cloud, Klikplayer Mini Site, Klikplayer Mini Cloud, Soca Insight On-Premise, Soca Insight Cloud, Kliktrack Cloud, Kliktrack Desktop, Kliktrack Mobile and Photospace. Products without a published price, such as Vertex Cloud, are quoted per project.

2. Licence units

Each product counts a different unit, as in the price book. The tier you are on follows the number of units on your account.

  • Vertex Player: per videotron unit. One Vertex instance runs one videotron; a videotron made of several panels or output windows is still one unit.
  • Vertex Monitoring: per device, counted from the units registered as active in the month.
  • Klikplayer Mini Site: per screen. One licence covers one display window, that is one physical monitor.
  • Klikplayer Mini Cloud: per device, counted from the units connected and active in the month. Devices must run a supported version of Klikplayer Mini Site.
  • Soca Insight On-Premise: per active camera, which equals one audience sensor. The application runs on macOS.
  • Soca Insight Cloud: per tenant per month, with a number of processed minutes included, plus processed minutes beyond them. Only video minutes that are processed successfully are billed; failed jobs are not. Included minutes do not roll over to the next month.
  • Kliktrack Cloud: per vehicle, counted from the units active in the month.
  • Kliktrack Desktop and Kliktrack Mobile: per unit or seat per month. Seats are included while a Kliktrack Cloud subscription is active. The Campaign option is billed per unit per day, with a minimum of 7 days.
  • Photospace: per tenant. Plans limit the number of active rooms and the total storage of all photos.

3. Subscription and billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as your plan or contract states. Vertex Player is billed annually in advance.
  • Soca Insight On-Premise and Photospace can also be prepaid annually.
  • Kliktrack Cloud volume prices apply to a 12-month commitment.
  • For products billed per active unit, each month counts the units active in that month.
  • All prices exclude 11% VAT. A written quote is valid for 90 days unless it states otherwise.

4. Perpetual licence for Klikplayer Mini Site

Klikplayer Mini Site can also be licensed perpetually: you pay once per screen, up front, instead of monthly. The perpetual price includes updates for the first 12 months. After that, the software keeps running on the version you have; later updates are not included in the perpetual price, and we can tell you the options.

A perpetual licence covers the Klikplayer Mini Site player only. A connection to Klikplayer Mini Cloud is billed separately. For the largest tier, perpetual terms are negotiated.

5. Setup and customer equipment

  • Vertex Player has a one-time setup fee per unit, covering installation, screen mapping and operator training. For the largest tier, setup is negotiated.
  • Kliktrack Desktop and Kliktrack Mobile have a one-time fee per unit for installation, port calibration and driver training.
  • The customer supplies the equipment the software runs with: the computer beside the screen, an RTSP-capable CCTV camera for proof of play, cameras for audience counting, a USB GPS receiver for Kliktrack Desktop, phones that allow background location for Kliktrack Mobile, and the booth laptop, camera and printer for Photospace.

6. Activation and licence checks

Each device is activated with its own licence key. On activation, the software creates its own cryptographic key pair and receives a signed licence from our licence service; Vertex Player uses Ed25519 signatures. While online, the software confirms its licence at regular intervals.

If a device is offline, a grace period lets it keep working, and the check resumes when the connection returns. Vertex Monitoring warns you about licences that expire within 30 days. You must not alter, copy or bypass a licence or its check.

7. Moving, replacing or transferring a device

  • A licence is bound to the device or unit it was activated on. One licence cannot run on more units at the same time.
  • To replace a failed or upgraded device, or to move a licence to another screen or site, contact us. We deactivate the old device and activate the new one, and the old device stops using the licence.
  • A licence can be transferred to another company only with our written agreement.

8. Trials and pilots

Photospace starts with a 7-day trial for one room, created automatically for a new account. It needs no credit card, lets you try every feature and ends automatically.

For the other products, we offer a 30-minute demo and a paid pilot of 30 days on one point, one camera or one Mōbitron route, with the scope agreed at the start.

9. Storage, quotas and fair use

  • Klikplayer Mini Cloud includes a storage quota per account, counted cumulatively. Storage beyond the quota is billed per GB on the next invoice. The two largest tiers require a local cache on the devices.
  • Photospace counts the total size of all photos against the plan’s storage, and refuses a new room once the number of active rooms reaches the plan limit.
  • Log and route retention follows the product plan, for example 90 days of logs in Vertex Monitoring, and 90 days to one year of history in Kliktrack Cloud depending on the tier.
  • Storage is for the content and records of the service, not for general file storage. If use on your account affects other customers, we will ask you to reduce it before taking any other step.

10. Third-party components and services

Our software includes open-source components that are licensed under their own terms, and those terms apply to those components. We can provide the relevant notices on request.

Some functions rely on services run by others, such as payment providers and the WhatsApp message gateway. Delivery to WhatsApp follows the availability of the gateway. Equipment and operating systems supplied by the customer are not part of the licence, and the accuracy of counts and positions depends on the camera and GPS quality.

11. Expiry, renewal and grace periods

  • Photospace: when a subscription ends, a 7-day grace period starts. During it, the booth refuses new sessions and new photos, and existing photos can still be viewed. When the grace period ends, the public pages are locked until you renew. Renewing while a subscription is active adds the new period on top of the time left; renewing during grace or after expiry starts the new period from the payment date.
  • Players and other device software: if a licence expires or cannot be confirmed and the grace period has ended, the software may stop accepting new schedules, and other functions may be limited until the licence is renewed.
  • Kliktrack seats included with Kliktrack Cloud stay valid only while the Kliktrack Cloud subscription is active.
  • Export the reports and records you need before a licence ends. After that, data is handled as the Privacy Policy and your contract describe.

12. Contact

For licence keys, device replacements, transfers and renewals, write to [email protected] or WhatsApp +62 822-9789-5758, and include the product and the device or account concerned.

This page is published in English, Indonesian and Chinese. If the versions differ, the Indonesian version prevails. PT Kliktron Media Teknologi, Bandung, Indonesia.
